ST challenge 3.31

The challenge on ST is again very good. This is the sketch.
On the pic my dad, son and one of my nephews, a good pic, with lot's of connection and fun, and reality.

I've used the homemade line by Kaisercraft, totally not a boys line, but the colours match and it's gives it a bit of a fun twist ... I think ;)

Rooftop adventure

Ik al een tijdje niets aan mijn blog toegevoegd. Wel gescrapt maar ik werk aan een boek over Istanbul dat door tijdsdruk niet erg wil vlotten.



In het boek combineer ik simpele pagina's met veel foto's met echte scrapbladen met één of twee foto's. Dit is een combi ervan. Op een van de scholen die ik bezocht maakten we een grappig avontuur mee. We gingen op het dak het dak bewonderen én het uitzicht. Een deur sloeg dicht en de enige met een sleutel stond ... op het dak. Dat was dus evn een gedoe. Ik heb erg gelachen en ondertussen mooie foto's gemaakt.
De LO is gebaseerd op een sketch van sketchy Thursdays...

This is a wonderful picture of I. that deserves a special LO. I´ve used the sketch from ST, and paper from DCWV. Some Prima flowers and some Thickers and buttons.

Sketchy Thurdays challenge guest DT sept.: my little boy

On ST you can fin very nice sketches; this one is the base for a challenge for guest DT in september.
I've made this very simple LO with it.
It's a picture of my son 21 years ago, in his little chair in the kitchen, looking ever so sweet (he was a very sweet baby btw).

I've used Prima paper (shabby chick) and some painting on it.
The nice wordstrips are easy to make:
Paint some acrylic white paint on een piece of cardstock (light blue)
Let dry
Make a text in word, I've used Hawaii killer, from 1001 fonts
Use a nice lace stamp cut en ink the strip

Very easy and it looks good, don't know why I've never thought of this earlier.

Sketchy Thurdays: challenge 7.15

This is a nice sketch.

Made this LO with it, using pictures of I. eating some totally wicked spray candy.
Used Bo Bunny papers and some ribbon and flowers.


The tittle is: she simply loves her spray candy.

Twisted sketch 54

Voor 't DT van Twisted sketches heb ik deze LO gemaakt.
Het thema was ''bold'.

Ik heb een foto van miijn neefje met een grote slak gebruikt en het geheel een beetje 'grof' uitgewerkt. In het echt heeft de LO een iets vriendelijkere uitstraling.


Ga vooral een kijken op 't blog, het is er simpel en verfrissend, gewone LO's die iedereen kan maken en niet alleen maar 'pretty pictures' van meisjes.... (ha ha die zijn uiteindelijk toch het makkelijkst om te maken)

Made a colourfull LO about a sweet cat in Vaison la Romaine in France. My nieces and me fell in love with mimi, who was very patient with us....
