This is a lovely mood board, on scrap around the world.
The work there by DT and visitors is so good....

Took inspiration from the colors and the 'room in your heart' part. The buddha I got some weeks ago does that to me.

This good sketch is the base for my layout with a 50 year old pic of me. In our old home on the balcony, love the smile....
I never was shy on pictures (opposit real life).
Used al kinds of blue scraps because of the white with blue challenge.

Decided to step down from SOUS DT. But a little regret in it, the sketches are so nice and you really get lot's of visitors.

But OK, move on.

This sketch is sweet, simple and dilicious.

Made a layout with some KK papers (leftover) and a beautiful picture of Iris, my best friends daughter.

This is the sketch this week on Stuck on us sketches... a beautiful one, with lots of stripes....





With the stripes of paper it's easy to use all kinds of leftover papers to create a fine layout.


I've use stamps and paper and the beautiful flower dies.

Dutch dares 'Bijna Herfst'

Een layout met restjes  Prima papier 'free spirit'.
Leuke dare op Dutch dares, ik heb het woordje 'web' letterlijk genomen, een knots van een spin in het web. Ergens bij het Naardermeer, op zo'n dag vlak voordat het echt herfst werd.
Vooral de stempels komen leuk tot hun recht, die heb ik ooit 's ergens gekregen, maar waar ???

Sous sketch: simple life

On Stuck on us Sketches, now 5 years in the game, you can find this super-duper sketch:

I've made a layout with some sweet pics from the early sixties, when we didn't travel or went to amusementsparcs. Simple walking in the neighbourhood, on the beach or to a plot with some horses...


I've used  a7dots kit 'illumination' nice soft tones. Could have used a bit more paper and a bit more variation in the packet!

In 2 weeks the bloghop with the sketches.... so exciting. And beautifull prices to win!!!

This week on Stuck on us Sketches, challenge blog for every scrapboker! You can win prices ;)  ;)

This is a great Nanné sketch, bit like a stamp but I used it to put the picture in the middle.
Did a lot of background on some old paper, used a piece of lace from an antiqueshop as layer.
The circle is filled with hotfix stones, ohhhh so much work because the back (of the stones) is not sticky anymore, finally glued them al with glossy accents.
The picture with my sister and me is almost 60 years old, but stil is beautiful with those handmade dresses.

The paper is form Crate, styleboard (strangely all papers beautiful on 1 side, ugly on the back ;)

I've made a layout with my sweet cat Kim, Now 14 years old, a bit of an old lady. I love how the pink/grey worked out.

You can use the sketch in many ways, and the picture is beautiful in the centre...


I made a layout with (part of and a bit photoshopped) a picture of my mum in 1963 ... not looking to bad for a mother of 4 young children ...

I've used authentic paper, lots of small strips and stamping and spraying. Love the Leeza Gibbons flowers, the colors are vibrant!

Sometimes I look at my old albums and really enjoy some layouts. Some are a bit bare without the sprays etc. but I noticed that paper, flowers and pictures often are more present in de the layout. So maybe a good reason to put the mixed media MM down for a while. Are there more scrapbookers that are a bit tired of MM???
