Simon says: stamp it

On Simons Says the monday challenge is ' Stamp It (stamtember). Hahaha I stamp on every card, couldn't do without it. This is a simple window background with distress oxide ink and an old stamp from a euro-shop ... Made it for a young adult so kept it nice and clean.

Beautiful warm colors!


When I got my DA price from june I was over the moon. The chance to use some new chippies, great.

The colors on the Piatek paperblock matched perfectly (although I didn't liked most of it at all).

Used some flowers and mica powder to colour the chippies.

More than Words Happiness

On More than words the main challenge is the word HAPPINESS and a sketch.
I wanted to work with these pictures that make me happy: my son when he was 2 in 1991, at a gardenparty with a little rain, it was great!
Used my new 49&market paper, prima flowers and a nice brickwall stencil. Didn't make a lot of fuss about it. Used a very old Tim Holz big die .... remenber them? hahaha Still great to created a lot of dimention.

10 years ago I used these picture for a ' twisted sisters' challenge, stil like it. And I'm still proud of the way I been scrapbooking al these years! It gives so much grattification!

August challenge: creatieve embellishments

Heya
On creative embellishments a good mood board. Do not know what to do with them -to much information- but OK I tried. Colors and the hanging flowers.
Got beautiful Prima Paper and flowers and stuff and a picture of me in 2007... in Morocco.

Had some dies and turned them into embellishments, a great way to use old paper that I don;t want to use anymore for scrapbooking. Simply put some gesso and copper wow powder on it.

Used lotsof blu’s and kept it basic.
Paper is Stamperia ... great stuff. Old stamps and some great cheap -no label- flowers.

So much fun to make these tags. Simply using all kinds of left overs on my little table ;)

I've used some old stamps and made a background with acrylic paint. The names of the birdies are freedom&magic.

Sketch-n-scrap: Beautiful

On the challengeblog Sketch-n-srcap this nice sketch.
I used only one picture, of Bo my beautiful Norwegian forest cat.

Used some beautiful Mintay paper, secret place. High quality paper, great colors and great value for money.

Used Prima flowers and had fun stitching one the papers... now I got the old machine working again.

More than Words: Discover & old stash

This month the challenge on MORE THAN WORDS is the word DISCOVER and to use some old stash.
I've used a folders fule of old G45 paper, mostly I use this stuff for cardmaking. The picture is also old: 1963 My dad, bro&sis @ Schiphol, the Amsterdam Airport (our first time).
Used new Prima flower and some other embellishments.
Love the result ;)

Dusty Attic: mood board juni 2019

On Dusty Attic this moodboard. The colors are stunning! I created a canvas with a picture in B&W... made in Palermo ... a guy making beuatiful bubbles and some children truly enjoying it!
Good memories.

I'm not very good with canvas, somehow it's to full and to empty, don't know but ok, the colors work for me ... I've not yet put a tittle on, could not think of one. Maybe ' WONDER'  or 'MAGIC' ...

The DA blog is so full of inspiration, I can not get enough of it! Great stuff!

My all time favorite: Hello

On 'More than words' the challenge is to use the word favorite and to scraplift yourself.

This picture is my all time favorite. We where poor in 1959 but a friend of the family made some pictures.

In 2007 the first workshop I followed was with my sister, in Rijswijk, near The Hague.
I stil love this layout.

For the scraplift I used Mintay-dear diary paper, great stuff! Prima flowers and a dusty attic chippie, that sweater was very pricktly hahaha.

FRAMES

Simon says is such a great start for some card-surfing.

Made some tags with my new oxide sprays ... don't know what to do with tags (exept looking @ them), but there sweet.
Also new for me the nuvo mousse, great stuff!

Also posted @ Double D Challenge blog, also a great place to finds cards and stuff ;) ... there the challenge is also FRAMES.

With my sweet cats: String and Kim (who died now 5 months ago).

Used KC paper in color that I don't use much ... but nice.
Did soms old fashioned scrapbooking with a little MM ... and a bit of the for me new NUVO guilding flakes .... love them.

the Dusty attic: may challenge

On the dusty attic blog a color challenge

Great colors, with that little bit of green as an extra.

Used a picture with some withered flowers, that I could not do away, I loved them so much.

Used 49&M paper and some leftovers from others brands. Flowers and the DA chipboard. Very hard to get in Holland!

Only 1 or 2 i shops that sell it, and nothing of the beautifull new stuff. But anyway ....

The picture is not great, the background didn't work with the clear gesso ... but ok ... I like it.

More than words: baby and pastels

On More than words this great CHALLENGE ....


I've made a layout with a picture of my sweet baby: Bo, a norwegian forest cat ... now 6 months.
She is sweet and a little terror, always trowing things on the ground.



I've used Prima paper and Teresa Collins, some orange pastel colors, to fit the color of her eyes.

The title is ' OH BABY'

MtW: feb challenge ... ALWAYS

On more than words the feb challenge is ' always and a quote'.  OK ... let's do it.
Always ... listen to your heart ....
Got some grazy cheap iron embellishments ... changed them with al little copper powder, great!
