Oh, I love this sketch so much. You can use it for everything. The pictures are of me ( hahaha) in the late sixties, with the hotpants, yo!

Sous: Keep calm

Oh, what a struggle, this time. To me scrapbooking is always an escape, a pleasure, but with this layout it wasn't.










The sketch is fine, but I choose the 'modern girl' paper (BB) and that what a bad mistake. The colors are so loud. Strangely well fitting the picture. But.... brrrr. The paper is also very heavy, and some prints are very, very yuk .....



So the first layout I just put it in the bin. Took the foto and the flowers of, and made this one... not much better.
The paper is in the stash that I use for anything else but scrapbooking....
For the next layout I've choosen paper-picture well, so no more frustration hahaha.

Of a very very sweet baby and his older sister. Used Authentic paper 'Flourish' and did some work on the background with mask and stamp ....

SOUS Thankful

Good morning!
This super sketch can be found on 'Stuck on us sketches'. Check out the cool layouts from the other DT-members. Very good. Also, you can win a fine price bij 'scrapbook  circle', the kitclub.

I've flipped the sketch. Used a picture of my grazy (but lovely) cat 'String'. The journaling is in Dutch: your beauty and softness, bring me a feeling of sheer happiness, every day!
The paper is a line bij Kaisercarft; curiosity. Sometimes this scrap-paper is so bold in colours and design. Your need a very heavy picture to match up to the paper. But, wel it's beautiful... and I love how the green (eyes), orange and red in de picture is picked up in the layout.

Sous; Misprint

So this week again a super sketch on Stuck on us sketches.

I've flipped it and used a misprint that came out of the printer when i printed the pictures for a layout some weeks ago. I loved it, so funny. The family somehow is closer in the 'misprint'.

Used EP paper, a leftover from some years ago, but stil ... love those backgrounds. Did a lot of work on the background. Used masks over the stickers, to continu with the 'misprint' theme. And, did a bit of the oldschool doodling....

For fun I've remade some layout's:
This one I made in 2010 with Gr45 paper (aplied for dt but never stood a chance!). Made 10 pieces in a week, but well ever since couldn't face the brand hahaha.

I've used a sketch from Once upon a sketch, didn't join the challenge, still don't stand a chance.

I've made this layout with an old picture of my son, his nephew and our newborn niece. They look so cute together.
I've used 'Life documented' paper by simple stories. The layout is a bit 'old fashioned' with button and string, but it seemed to fit the photo.





















Hope you have a nice weekend. In the Netherlands the wether is soooo good, sunshine and birds like its summer not spring. So afther a week with flu I'm going for some nice walks!

SATW: Move

On scrap around the world you can find this fine mood board.

I was inspired by the colors on the left top, and started from there.
On the layout Iris, in here new room. Lot's to do when moving ... But a girl has to take time for her nails ...
I love to scrap 'normal' everyday pictures (instead of  beauty pictures that are photoshopped), and used al kinds of leftover papers (and some Anna Marie by Prima).

I've used a new line by Prima, Anna Marie, lovely colors. The picture was is a box with old pictures, ready to be disposed of. And, because I don't like to trow away pictures, even torn, so instead ... scrapped it.
In 2006 I was a bit thinner ;(   ;(  and a lot more relaxed as I see it.
