Snowy winter sky

With the colours of CCG I've made this page. It's a picture of Ransdorp, part of Amsterdam, between two blizzards. Beautiful sky!!

Rooftop adventure

Ik al een tijdje niets aan mijn blog toegevoegd. Wel gescrapt maar ik werk aan een boek over Istanbul dat door tijdsdruk niet erg wil vlotten.



In het boek combineer ik simpele pagina's met veel foto's met echte scrapbladen met één of twee foto's. Dit is een combi ervan. Op een van de scholen die ik bezocht maakten we een grappig avontuur mee. We gingen op het dak het dak bewonderen én het uitzicht. Een deur sloeg dicht en de enige met een sleutel stond ... op het dak. Dat was dus evn een gedoe. Ik heb erg gelachen en ondertussen mooie foto's gemaakt.
De LO is gebaseerd op een sketch van sketchy Thursdays...

CCG: 161 Fun run

On CCG a new challenge, very nice colours,, used a school pic to start with.

Used some left over designpapers, dreamstreet MME... I've embossed the butterfly's and the die cut.

String is such a top model!

Have used the max&whiskers papers from Bg. Bought it in a sale (lucky); didn't pay the full price for it (lucky). I'm sorry but I don't like it at all. It's gloomy, the colours are terrible and don't match many cats or dogs... Payed 15 euro for the whole pack, but stil it feels like a waste....

The picture is n't very nice, but it's a lovely sketch by Pencillines.

He's so focused.

Making a LO with a smiling girl is easy, but with a grown up boy ... that's totally different.

End of summer

The wonderfull blog Scrap that Poetry has a challenge with a special Poem: Ode to end of summer.
This layout is about the 'forsaken beach'.


It's a combination of papers: oct.aft. cherry arte 7gypsies, stamp by prima.
It's in Zandvoort in Holland, one of the most popular beaches, but end of summer after 7 it's beautifull!

To be honest, in real life it's so much better.... vibrant and a little dreamy!
A little detail:
Used little scraps of paper to make flowers. Even used the edges with purple paint that I thore of the purple paper...

Ik heb cardstock, papier van thecolorconspiracy, Prima bloemen, kraaltjes en spelden en verf gebruikt.

Op 2sketches4you staat deze week een leuke sketch, #58 van Laura. Het DT team gebruikt er digitale stempels bij; ik heb gewoon zelf een tekeningetje gemaakt...


Ingekleurd met copic markers, ben ik nog helemaal niet handig mee.

Op DCL een weeksketch die me minder aanspreekt maar goed, toch geprobeerd er iets van te maken


Het papier is van Pink Paislee, restjes van een LO die ik van de week maakte. De bloemen zijn van Prima.
